In July 1997, Electronic Manufacturing Corporation (EMC) underwent a change in ownership. Mr. John D. Novak and Ms. Janice R. Novak, former owners of a consulting firm that assisted companies in implementing ISO 9000 series quality systems, wanted to own a company that marketed a product rather than a service. John and Janice, husband and wife team, became the new owners of Electronic Manufacturing Corporation.
